With a full length of 136 meters, the New Luwu Bridge was started in May 2007, temporarily accepted in September 2008, which has a contract amount of USD 3,660,000 , and actual turnover of about USD5,000,000 dollars. This bridge is the longest continuous beam steel bridge in Tanzania at present, with a longest span (55 meters). The New Luvu Bridge is the only path to link the Dar Es Salaam and other areas. The completing of the bridge will play a very important role in many aspects such as economy in Tanzania.
